About Us
The Masonic Hall is run by the Frinton & Walton Masonic Association in conjunction with the Hall Trustees, on a non-profit making basis, for the purpose of providing it’s Members with facilities in which to meet and enjoy each others company.
Although the Hall is primarily for the benefit of members of the society of Freemasons, there are also a number of non-Masonic organisations and clubs who use the facilities on a regular basis. Indeed, we would have liked to encourage even more of the local community to make more use of the facilities we have. However, the facilities at our previous hall at Frinton Park Court were rather constrained so numbers who could attend and the type of functions that could be held were very limited.
However, on 20th June 2005, we acquired the nightclub formally known as Tracks in Station Road, Kirby Cross. We immediately set out on a major program of refurbishment and conversion works to be in occupation in time for the first Masonic meeting of the new season, namely Frituna Lodge on 1st October 2005.
Conversion works were completed and we now have:
-
A function suite (The Taylor Rooms) able to seat 250 people dining. This incorporates a dance floor, disco and lighting system. The function suite will be able to be partitioned so as to provide suitable space for smaller functions and/or meetings.
-
A spacious bar and lounge area.
-
A Masonic Temple which will have permanent seating for approximately 250 but be able to be partitioned for smaller meetings
-
Large secure car parking with security lighting and CCTV.
-
Catering at the hall is provided by a local caterer, Laura Andrews of Tasteful Catering Ltd., and is able to provide a wide variety of meals ranging from the very formal four (or more!) course meal to the informal buffet. If you would like to know more about the facilities we have to offer and availability, please complete the contact form on the Contact Page.
